Typing finger count.

For giggles and grins one summer during my college years, I took a typing course at the local community college. I'm glad I did. When I joined the Air Force, to get into the technical school I wanted, you needed to prove you could type at least 30 words per minute with only one error allowed. During a deadline crunch, I could get up to 60 words a minute. Arthritis has set in and my speed isn't what it used to be.

I use all 10 and type at 80wpm, I don't even need to look at the keyboard. I like to swap the keys around on people just to screw them up, or swap the keyboard with one of these:

My last year in high school I need three hours to fill to graduate and all I could get into was a typing class.

I hated it thinking it was a class for sissys..............

Little did I know then that it was probably one of the most important things I learned while in school.
