What have you bought to install that filter? I am trying to get an idea of how you are going to do the project.

Hose..........what size?

I assume that you will have to tie into the down stream side fuel tank selector valve to filter both tanks.

What size fitting will go on the valve?

What size fittings will you use on the filter head?

How will you go from the filter to the fuel pump......hose size and fittings?

As far as a mounting bracket a piece of aluminum angle iron might work. I drilled my frame rail and mounted mine...........don't know if that is what you had in mind.

I have not done anything about the fittings/hoses so I can't answer that at this point. When the opportunity arises I plan to find a hose shop and take it in with me. I plan to tie in post selector valve and the line is pretty easy access. It has a readily accessible rubber line meeting the steel line. I figure I will cut off a bit of the steel line and just hose clamp the post filter line back on just like it is now.

I have planned on drilling the frame to hold it and something along angle iron is what I had in mind too. I would like to add a stone guard if possible. I have drawn my idea a couple of times and it should be easy with the proper tools. That is where I fall short. I have minimal, and mostly crappy, tools.

Tools arent a problem..............

Its just knowing what fittings and hose size will be required and making sure all the parts are rounded up before starting the project.

Tbar, let me know with a weekend advance and I'll hit a hose shop ahead of time. I can host a few trucks here if we plan an afternoon.
