our 'newer' downstairs tv went to the 'black screen of death' side of the world. looking at getting a new one and keep in mind of the '09 regs (i do have cable).

want to get a slim DLP. size, prolly no bigger than 40".

questions?
comments?
concerns?
references?
thoughts?

I have a Sony LCD projection, Wega 50". Its one step lower than the Bravia I think, but I love my TV. I have had it for 3 years and have no problems. I picked it because of the price, picture, and if the bulb goes out its really easy to change. Its not like old projection tv's either, were the pic gets darker if you not loking at it straight on. Another plus is that i pic up a bunch of movie channels that I dont pay for.

SONY Bravia, very nice picture, decent price.

X2 on the Bravia's ;tu ;tu

I have two. A 36" at the house, and a 26" in the RV. Super HD picture.. Got'm at Wally World. Good pricing too.

Sony Bravia, hands down. We love our 40". As said, great picture and features. All of my AV Equipment is Sony, I have just had great luck with them. Just waiting for Christmas to replace our DVD with a Sony Blue Ray, to complete the package. :sly
