Sounds like you may have replaced it with a el-cheapo one that burned up after an hour. Try a good heavy duty one..

funny you mentioned the el-cheapo. it was the expensive $9 heavy duty that burned out, i took it back and got the cheapo $2 got lunch with the change and it works good so far, at least for the few hours i was out today.
