Tunning my Tuner

boys need some help. I just got the edge with evolution tuner. now i understand the five shift on the fly power settings. i get that and i can feel it in the seat of my pants. the question is..... as you go deeper into the menu you can get to a fuel setting. it looks something like this.........

(1) less smoke
(2)
(3)
(4)
(5) most responsive

so if i understand right, the higher the setting, the more fuel and thus more power and smoke. am i correct in assuming this?

That would be YES!!! You will be surprised to know that the best mileage will come in the highest setting if you can keep your foot out of it!!!

so give me an example of a power setting and a fuel setting please. always interested in saving fuel

hey boys i cant get SMOKE!!!! i put my tunner on power setting 3 and the low boost fuel setting on 5 and then on 1. in either case i punched the throttle and ..... nothing, no smoke. whats up? am i doing it wrong? is my truck a lame duck? somebody help me.....

When you say "punched" are you driving or just in park? I dont know much about that tuner, but bump it up to level 5 and then power brake it... that should get something out of any tuner.

yeah i was driving down the highway 45-50, and then punched it. i was on power level 2 and fuel setting 5. is this something that happens under load? is it better served sarteing from a stopped position?

You dont have enough fuel to do it running....Start from a start...
