The Short answer is "yes".

The long answer is "it depends on the service advisor and the tech workingo n your truck"

If you blow up your motor and are found to be using a tuner, you will be footing the bill.

if you have a tuner remove programs and clear all codes before you bring the truck in for service. then reinstall program when done...

A good tech with proper equipment will still KNOW what's up. Pulling the program and clearing codes is not as "safe" as some tend to believe, especially not on the 6.0s. Not to mention if Ford sends a field specialists out and he asks to see the piston tops if you have engine failure. Spray patterns are quite different on a rodded truck.

well I wash regulary vice the normal weekly north bama routine.....:D

does the 6.0 need a tuner???? well to sweeten the tranny shift strategy would be nice to keep teh tq converter locked down to 40 would be a big plus, but for more HP ....... a few extra wouldnt hurt......... but i am happy as a humming bird with mine......
short answer is
if you play you may pay, there is no absolute with dumping and clearing codes.......attitude and past my be a bigger factor than than you think -popcorn -popcorn
