Just went out to start my truck and it wont. Ran fine last night. The Wait To Start Light doesnt come on at all and the check engine light is on. I dont think it shows any symptoms of a CPS, but im not positive. Any immediate help is appreciated, as i need to go to work.

Took it off, it starts, now i cleaned the prongs before i installed the chip. Should i use di-electric grease or something on it? If this is gonna cause me problems, then might as well not even hook the damn thing up.

Glad you found the problem............ did you clean the contacts on the PCM board really good before you installed the chip? A little di-electric wouldn't be a bad idea. some guys also use tape to keep the chip secure.
