Hello I have a 2004 F-250 6.0 60,000 miles automatic. I was driving it too work today, stopped at a light, when I went to accelerate, pushed the peddal down and the engine would not go above a Idle. Shut the truck off, restarted still would not accelerate. After a minute or so, it stared to rev up. drove to work, driving home it did the same thing. Has anyone else had this problem? any suggestions would Help. Scott

1-do you have any codes?
2-do you have anykind of programmer?
3-it could be TPS(throttle position sensor...go pedal)

atk thanks for the reply, I dont know if there are any codes. My buddy has my scanner. Check engine light not on. I have the quadzilla Programmer. shut it off and bypassed it. nothing. Does the TPS mess up or Does it Just quit? I would like to have some info before I take it to the Stealership. LOL

there may be a code and the light not be on....if you do have a scanner or access to one, scan it first to make sure.....as for the TPS, it can do both.....another thing you can try, is check the electrical connection for corrosion or just being loose....it is not a common problem, but have herd a few(TPS) being replaced.......hope this helps

there is a test you can do, but i am not sure which wires to test(without a wiring diagram)...basically you want to check for voltage going in and voltage coming out when you are moving the pedal through it`s motion.......

Thanks Guys

I found my Quadzilla manual. Plugged the Quadzilla back in and the led was flashing Orange. Manual says to check ICP relay. No problem there. Called Quadzilla they Played Dumb, But told me to ship it back to them for a Re-map. Truck shows No Codes but Once I plugged the Controller back in the Scanner could Not Link to the ecm. So I will ship it back to the Tomm. I Hope somebody else can Benifit from My Expierence Scott
