I started my truck today and once it was running it stalled out, then a relay under the dash started clicking, so I pinned down which relay it was and replaced it with a new one. Same thing happened after replacing it. The relay is listed as the injector driver module. Not sure what to do. Any help would be great. I have an 02 7.3l 195,000 miles on it

This may sound strange , but I had a chattering relay like that . I cleaned the battery posts , put some antisieze ( copper ) on the posts & the problem went away.

Most of time a clicking relay means that it doesn't have enough battery current to close and keep closed the relay contacts. Clean the battery terminals then charge, then check the charging system. Hope this helps.

batterys are charged, contacts are clean and tight, the truck will start and run for about 15 secs then it stalls out, and only the one relay clicks not the other five that are under the dash. Ive tried three different relays with all the same result.

did they ever move the idm to on top of the fender under the hood? I pulled my fender down some today and couldnt see anything up in there that was not accessible from under the hood. How big is the thing?

When you take the inner fender out it is in the upper right side behind the 250 or 350 emblem. It is not easy to get to or see. I think 2 screws hold it in. T.Tolle

had the same problem with my 02. check all of the fuses, there is one that supplies that relay with power and mine was on the way out, it wasnt always making connection and acted the same way. the fuse for that is in one of the 3 or 4 bank fuses to the right of al the relays. good luck

Problem solved

Thanks for all the replys everyone, Turned out being a battery wire that supplies power to the fuse panel I believe. It is located on top of the drivers wheel well just below the air box. The connector says high voltage or current on it. The connector is not water proof so it was completly corrode and when I touched the wire it fell off the connection. So I changed the type of connection and all is better. Thanks
