truck lost power no restart

Ok Im new to this forum hello to all. I own a 2000 PS 7.3 no mods i was pulling a trailer for about 50 miles, lost power got my trailer parked and unhooked then no restart we put a new fuel pump on and no go. Had it towed to dealer, and they think it is a oil presure problem, but cant seem to find were it is loosing oil presure, maybe o ring somewere.
What do you guys think ?

The Orings on the injectors are prone to failure. I have seen several at the 150,000 to 175,000 mile range.
I have also seen one of the plugs in the oil gallery in the head unscrew and fall out.

Do you have at least a 1/2 tank of fuel?

There has been a chronic problem with the pickup assembly in the tank where it will suck air at about 1/4 tank or less causing the truck to in effect run out of fuel. But if you have at least 1/2 tank of fuel, it will be at a level above the problem point, in effect eliminating that potential cause of your problem.

FWIW, the fix for that problem in the tank has become widely know as the "Hutch mod". Plenty of reading around that is easy to find doing a simple search.

the truck has a full tank, at the dealer and they said a high presure oil pump
good presure on one side and low on the other, with a price of 1,100$, does that sound about right? that is with oil line on one side, that they is say bad.

Assuming their diagnosis is accurate,
Call Bob at Dieselsite.com and get an Adrenaline HPOP. It's cheaper than a Ford unit and performs better. FWIW, I'm mid-installation of one in my truck right now, supper break.
