if you find the evolutions direction/owners manual i remember reading something about that.

your best bet is to call edge, and they can walk you through what you need to do.

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF DP PERFORMANCE, TWINDLEMAN(?),ETC... CAN REPORGRAM MY ECM. I MAY JUST DO THAT. GO FOR THE TOW REPROGRAM AND CALL IT GOOD. THER IS NO COMMUNICATION WITH THE ECM, FROM THE WIRING DIAGRAM THE SOLID STATE OF THE ECM TURNS ON THE WAIT TO START LIGHT, GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER, CCD BUS COMM. THANKS

Napa offers a exchange reman 7- 10 days out for a lot less. I will call dp tuner mon and see what they offer. If they can give me a boost for the same price I will probably go that route, otherwise it will be a napa reman and the truck will forever remain stock.

i had a lot of trouble with my edge evolution. my gmc wouldnt start after i changed performance levels. i just kept retrying . go back to stock the problem is the program. its junk. they sent me another after a month and it was good for about a month,then the same thing happend..so i bought a ford haha

Truck is back up and running again. Edge sent me a stock writer, and new programmer. All is now well. Thanks to all who replied.
