Trouble starting

I have a 2004 Ford F-350 6.0L diesel with 116k miles, cranks hard and then dies( sounds like batter is dead), I turn the key back, crank again and it cranks hard and then dies(sounds like battery is dead), I turn the key back and crank again and it starts. Batteries, alternator and starter were tested and all are working great with no issues. Need some help or advise.

FICM could be going bad. Scan your truck and tell us what codes come up. Mine did the hard state and then died. Your time might be short.

Check your battery cable connections.

Take belt off and crank it over, I see a lot more of seized ac compressors nowadays on 03s and 04’s, is it early build engine with icp in back? They can also cause this issue, usually sets p2285
