I would check out the speed sensor in the rear end housing.

it means there is a problem with the anti-lock brake system....it could be simple as the sensor on the rear diff as previos stated...if you can get a code reader and see what the code is, that should pretty much pin-point the problem....hope this helps

Other symptoms of the speed sensor are odd shifting and no cruise control or cruise control that seems to hunt for the set speed. If you do decide to replace it, it is sometimes refered to as the "rear axle abs sensor" don't ask me why.
