I am assuming you purged the cylinders of oil and it is not hydra locked..............bad ju-ju.

Get a battery charger on the batteries. Just because it sounds like it is turning over ok does not mean the pcm has enough juice to allow it to fire.

Crank for 15-20 seconds.........then let the starter cool off for a minute.

Repeat until she fires..........its going to smoke like a freight train for a minute so don't be concerned.

To get the rest of the air out of the system and get it to run right you need to drive it like you stole it.........hammer down!!!

You have plugged the IDM back in right.....???

Assuming your batteries still show 12.5 - 13.5 volts keep trying.

Good Deal.:sweet

I was kinda thinking earlier that it might be air in the fuel or oil passages and it might take a while to work it all out. That's one of the disadvantages of the dead end fuel system. It can be a real PITA to get the air worked out.

Glad you got it running.

T what made you change your injector sleeves? Just wondering, mine is still using oil like a dog eatin' boiled okra, it just goes down so fast and easy. No smoke just black soot on the bumper. Don't miss a beat, runs like a scalded dog, and gets 18.5 mpg, still. I'm thinking injectors, got 225K on truck. I know I have put 105K on it myself. Engine completely rebuilt, new rings, pistons, valves, head job and 2 turbo's. Don't leak a drop AT ALL! STUMPED?
