Sorry for posting the same request again, but hoping for some help.

I have had it with my trip computer. I have taken it to a coworker for soldering of the resisters several times and they still come off. I can't complain to the coworker cause it has been done for free so far.

Anybody here good at soldering? I will send it to ya, with enough to send back and for your time.

Just a thought - I used to work at a local college in the electronics repair department. People were always bringing in stereos, TVs, etc for free repair. The teacher also loved it 'cause it gave the students a wide variety of practice material and repair scenarios. You might try your local college and see if they'd let you bring it in?? Wish I could help but I seriously doubt you'd want ME working on your electronics (trust me)! Hope you get it fixed.

Go to Radio Shack and buy a 15 watt soldering iron and some solder and solder it yourself! It's already messed up so you can't mess it up any more. You may want to buy new resistors while you are at Radio Shack. The stock flat ones are hard to solder, that may be why they keep working loose.
