transmission trouble

got a 97 350 and just put a 3' down pipe and 4' exgusht all the way back. when I put my foot to the floor the trans will up shift instead of down shifting, it will also shift eary when at full throttle. It also has a programer installed it. All this started after the new exgusht was put on. any help is appreeciated.

This may be a stupid question, but did you or the installer unplug anything under the truck, or inside when installing exhaust? If a shop did install it, who knows what could have happened. :[

yeah it was a shop that did it, i didnt think to look for stuff unplugged

Yeah, taht would be the first thing to check. If not that it may be something simple but, then it could be very costly. Good luck, and if the installer did unplug something or screw something up, I'd be looking for some money back!! Good Luck.
