Transmission fluid is brownish

Those that mean my transmission is blown.
Any of you guys out there have experienced this and what results you got.after replacing fluids I’m going to change the fluids and hope all is right.::stir

Fluid has been burnt/not changed in a long time. How many miles on the truck. If you drop the pan be sure to note how much stuff is on the magnet. ( I am guess a lot) I wouldn't say your transmission is blown but probably has some severe wear.

50 some odd thousand on the transmission based on his other threads.

this may solve your transmission problem.

Follow the wiki article on flushing your transmission and replace your filter too.

Be aware that if your transmission is really bad then this may kill it completely. with transmissions on their last leg with very worn frictions the additional junk in the fluid helps.
