Has anyone had thier T-case not shift out of 4wd when shifting to 2wd? Mine recently got bound up and would not come out. I had to shift to 4low and back to 4hi and 2wd to get it to come out.

The transfer case shift motor is a weak spot, I've changed mine once already and several others here have as well. From what I could tell on mine, the gears inside the gearmotor stripped.

how`s the fluid in the T-CASE...since i don`t know the mileage on your truck,
maybe you could change the fluid and upgrade to a synthetic fluid, it might help with the shifting in ternally...it won`t hurt, but like 95 Stroker said, it could be a weak motor....hope this helps
