Question trans. hard shift??

03 f350 6.0 trans. goes into gear hard (worst for reverse) and seems to sporadically slip at driving speeds? slip is more like a hiccup. edge tuner, stock trans.,light hauling total 170k mi. just did flush and fill on trans. incl. inline filter.??? could this be a vacuum leak or what, any suggestions to look for would be greatly appreciated. thx

If you do a search on trannys you will find that the 03 trannys seem to have issues --- to the point of re-build

I know that you don't want to hear that but it is what it is

Try a tranny tune-up

The Edge tuner is not the best to start with they are known to kill the trans The SCT X3 is a better tuner for your trans.
