I just picked up a new tranny temp guage and was wondering were everyone has there sending unit installed. I was thinking about putting it inline on the pressure side but if the tranny has a plug I will go that way.:)

Just in front of the gear shift wiring on the drivers side. Just above the pan.

Is it NPT or do I have to get a fitting for the sending unit to fit in there?

On my 06 with the torque shift, there was an 1/8 npt plug in the location bubro stated. I assume that your trans is similar, but you know assume makes an (ass) of (u) and (me). :D

I have ass-u-me-d many things before I figured this case would be a good idea to find out if there was a plug in the tranny and what size/shape it was before I cut into the tranny line when it isn't needed.
