tranny temp sender install?

where is the best location to put the sending unit to get a good working temp? I just had a new tranny put inand the shop did not reinstall the sender

Fill out your signature so we know what type of truck you are referring to. Go to the User CP at the top and click on Edit Signature and fill it out. What type of tranny are you asking about?

Assuming E4OD or 4R100, there is a test port on the left (drivers) side of the tranny that your temp probe will thread into.
