Agreed. Now I just need to find an '08 pigtail! I think it's time to call around to the junk yards.

Measure yer existing pigtail length.. go to yer Ford parts place.. measure an 08 pigtail for length.. go from there ?

Im in the same boat. The previous owner of my 99 totally messed up the wiring. Its been spliced alot. Im havin some probs with it but I just rig it till I can find somethin. I went to O'reilleys and they do have one that fits Ford and GM's but its a totally different plug in on my truck. Its been prepped for the 7 pin and has a plug in for the trailer harness but its totally different. I went to Ford and they said the only one they have or can find is the flat 4 connector. I'd rather find one that is a plug and play instead of doin more splicing. Anyone have any ideas? I also wouldnt mind updating to the 08 and up style too.
