Question for y'all...I have a 06 F-350 with 8" lift and 37" Toyos. My bed rails are sitting at 62". I'm looking at buying a new fifth wheel but I'm not sure if my truck is too tall. Any one have a similar set up or know of someone who does? Just want to know if it can be done and done safely.

x2 A friend of mine did the spring over on his trailer which most older fifth wheels seem to need anyway with today's 4x4s he also put the biggest tire he could on the trailer and it still didn't sit level. The trailer will sway more and you're for sure going to wear out bearings, brakes, and tires on your rear axle much faster that way. I would suggest selling the 8in for a 4in and if necessary a 35in tire. I run a 35 with a leveling kit and a little wheel well modification was all that was necessary.

thanks y'all for the input. i have decided on two options: 1. remove the lift kit, go back to stock height and put on 33's or 35's or 2. sell the truck and buy a Class A motorhome.

Was going to say. I am running 35's on a 6" lift and the guys that installed mine said that was the biggest I could go and still have my gooseneck stock height.
