Question Towing mileage

What are you guys getting mileage wize towing. I asking because when I went to MN. I was towing about 6K in weight and the aerodynamics of a brick wall. I have been running a new mineral additive with the oil and fuel. I started off with 9.3 mpg but by time I got to MN. I was up to 12.9 with the same load. But when I got unloaded my mpg jumped to 25.3 mpg with a 1200 pound trailer in tow.

I'm still playing with the mineral additive but I has had no problems with it to date, and mileage is holding at about 24.5 mpg hwy. City is still all over the place.

It's been over 1.5 years since I towed a trailer, but I got 13mpg when towing a 2 car trailer loaded down.

Total weight would average around 19 to 22k for the most part.

What speed are you towing at to get that mileage? I've never seen 25.3 empty, let alone towing. Are you driving all downhill or what?

12-13 pulling the fiver at 70-75 mph
10 pulling the cargo trailer empty or full it dont change

I was there for about a 1/2 hour unloading then gone. Sorry!! and yes ethos. It comes in 32 oz bottles at about $50. But it seams to work. You put in 1 oz to every qt of oil then 1 oz to every 10 gal of diesel.

are u saying 32oz. costs $50? and u use 18oz. on a 30 gallon tank... ie: 15 oil & 3/10 gal. diesel = 18oz.

seems pretty spendy...
