but this EGR gotta be shot.

Luv this truck....but I do have a question.

How much power does the EGR steal???
Pulling scrap tires the last couple of days and noticed the power seemed a little low on some of the steeper hills, never dropped below 70 grossing 20,280lbs just didn't seem like it was giving me it's all.

You and the DOT ought to meet up, I'm sure you'd be great friends... lol. Oh and mad props for your new single...

I'm not sure if your serious or being sarcastic, but 70+ with 20K on there isn't doing too bad... I know it's pretty much flat down there, but still at that level of power requirement, atmospheric conditions might be coming into play, or even variances in fuel.

20K lbs?

My truck with the gooseneck on it weighs in over 15K EMPTY.
How much faster than 70 do you wanna go?
If EGR concerns you, get an SCT with a custom tow tune, they disable EGR function, mainly to avoid trouble with exhaust braking. I am fairly sure that EGR only opens at idle and low RPM's.
SCT will give you alot more power, too, if you even need it...
Get that truck loaded up at about 40K and 20 will feel like nothing!

Sorry I was goofy tired when I posted that, Gross was 20k (truck, loaded trailer and my fat arse)

Maybe I just wasn't pressing hard enough on the go pedal

I don't need much more than 70.

I have thought long and hard about an SCT but don't want any warranty denied issues just yet.
