Yesterday after i arrived home i let the truck idle (at 1st in neutral &
then in park) to let it cool down (my tranny temp gauge was indicating
180* from sitting in traffic).

when i selected my high idle (not the battery voltage idle increase)
my tow/haul light on the dash blinked off and on (i thought maybe
it was from being in neutral)...i put the truck in park, turned the idle
switch on & the light began blinking again.

I had my autoenginuity connected (i was monitoring the engine coolant
and engine oil temps)...i got no codes...and i even switched over to the
Trans-Can mode w/ autoenginuity and saw no faults or codes there...
in fact other than the LIGHT blinking i saw no indications of any other
issues (including a rising temperature)

anyone have any ideas ?

was yer stock tranny gauge pegged out with the check gauge light on?

nope...sittin' in the middle of the gauge like it always does.
my autometer temp gauge did not read higher than 180* at the time
(or ever).

Drive it around and see if the stock temp guage drops to zero and than comes back up if it does than you are having the same problem as me.
