Im 120 miles soutwest of San Antonio.

Next Time Total Diesel Performance has a Dyno run & a day at the track you should come up to Oklahoma City. Bunch of folks came up from Texas this past September. Great time. Only problem was it made me want to spend more money on mods:burnit

P0605 is a PCM read only memory error. This happens with a battery disconnect and also chips/programmers. P1780 isn't on my DVD.

but I know if you buy a cheap one - you'll replace it down the road again....

That's the way I feel about most things, most of the time. However, I also like to have a good working understanding of why Im paying more. Especially since most dealer parts are usually higher than anything out there. You can see why Id want to know as much as I can before I spend almost $1000 over dealer.

Do you guys think my TC was/is at fault for constantly feeling like the truck is under a load and the jerky feeling I sometimes get at around 40 - 50 mph?

my brother and i have had my early 99 tranny rebuilt 3 times now this last one included a full shift kit and all new soft parts. this was like a month ago and i already have the shutter when my chip is on full power im thinking of trying to find something custom built, but i might try a torque converter i live next to a ford service guy from tomball he said its my converter

Well, it has gone from bad to worse. It was running ok as long as you didnt get on the pedal. Now it is having trouble from 2nd to 3rd best I can tell. Seems to shift in and out of gear and back and forth. Feels like it has a little jerking to it and twice made a loud raspy sound. Kinda sounded like an over sized tire rubbing the inside fender well on a bump. (best I can do to describe it).

Anybody

(Do you guys think my TC was/is at fault) Yes, the TC is the weakest part of the Ford Transmission.
