Question Torque Converter Options

So, my truck has a leak at the back of the motor....most likely a bed plate leak and the trans is coming out to repair it. The tech at Ford told me he'd be happy to put a new converter in free of charge while it was out, but I'm having a hard time finding reviews on the various units out.

I'm really looking for a mileage increase as well as something that will help my tranny live a long, durable life. Do you have any suggestions or experience on this?

i bought an ATS 5 star converter. it was expensive, but with 2mpg gain city driving (under 45mph) it has more than payed fore itself!
