Torqshift TC Lockup

I seem to remember seeing a mod at one point that would keep the TC in lockup longer allowing you to use compression when slowing down. As most of you know, the transmission will "free wheel" almost as soon as you apply pressure to the break. Has anyone seen or heard of a mod like this? Also, has anyone added an exhaust break to their 6.0?

I have a SCT Xcal2 programmed by Innovative. They can lockup the TC from 3rd gear and up. I also have their aggressive tow tune. It keeps the TC locked so the turbo acts like an exhaust brake. Contact Eric, he can help you better than I. Keith

I can tell you even with the extreme street tune at 40mph the TC locks up. On the highway at 70, if I get off the loud pedal, then get back on the engine doesn't rev up. Keith

I should have been more specific... I meant the turbo braking action routine...

I don't know exactly how Eric does it, I think how he does it is he programs the vanes so they are closed. You may want to contact him. He answers his email real quick. I swear he never sleeps. Keith

man i wish to god someone would figure out a way to do this
w/OUT a tuner...i dont wanna spend 400 bucks just to control
my torque converter lock up !
