Its my side of the garage
A few months ago I attempted to change the fuel filters on my '04 F250. The bottom filter changed just fine. The top was/is another story.
I bought this truck used. Apparently the last guy (or the dealer I bought it from) gacked up the plastic filter cap. The nut is all stripped , and I can't find anything to remove it without destroying it.
I intend to buy a Billet Fuel Filter Cap to replace it, but I haven't ordered it yet.
I don't want to destroy the plastic cap without a replacement in hand. Anybody run into this before? Got any ideas?
BTW, I tried a 1/2" driver in the cap hole. Somebody tried that before, and put a crack it the nut! I'm afraid if I turn any harder I will destroy the cap.
