I doubt it is your ebpv closed, or it wouldn't have much power when you hit it, especially stock.

You are over fueling. That is why you have the black smoke. The turbo will not cause black smoke, only the PCM and the Chip.

I know this... I am trying to figure out why I am over fueling and the turbo may not be giving me enough air flow.

Its not the chip becuase its in the stock position

I'm with the theory that the chip is not stock in the position you think it's stock.

Remove the chip and see if it happens.

Have you removed your chip switch lately? If so you may have moved the stop on the switch and stock is no longer stock.

Have you driven it with the chip pulled out? If so did it do the same smoke show?

Hey, you are the one asking for help. I am only trying to help, as are the others. Get the chip out of there and start with what you KNOW is good. You don't KNOW that the chip is working properly. Your injectors are good or you wouldn't have a smoke problem. A diesel engine runs with a constant air supply and it is only increased by boost from the turbo. There is no fuel-to-air ratio in a diesel. To goes from very little to too much fuel. Too much is obviously smoke and HIGH TEMPERATURES.

Easy Dave, I was just saying/trying to say I know what causes the black smoke. I wasnt being rude...

The reason I brought up the Turbo was in case it wasnt spooling up fast enough???

Took the chip out and still have the Same issue..Hmm its odd
