In one of the best race endings I have ever seen, Tony Stewart pulls off a fantastic win to capture the Sprint Cup. Thrilling race. I am very happy Tony won.

Rather see Tony win it that Carl (Jimmy Spencer) Edwards or
that smug storm, Jimmy Johnson.

I'm happy for Tony. But...Carl drives a Ford, not a gov't motors.

Agreed. I only root the Ford and sometimes the Dodge guys. Even a Yota guy is better than a GM guy. I wish they would bring back the good ole Trans am racing like it was in the late 60's. Old Mustangs vs Cudas vs Camaros. Now that was racing. I cant keep track of nascar anymore. I used to be a big fan of it. Now it seems everyone changes teams, cars, sponsors cant keep up now. I used to collect all the collectible cars. Hard to update now haha.

I'm glad Tony won, but would rather have seen Carl win it. I agree with the changing of cars, sponsors, and drivers. Seems that it can be a "merry go round" of changes at times. I guess that's why they call the offseason "silly season". BTW, looks like Roush won't run the 6 car next year and will be down to 3 cars in Cup and 1 full time and 1 part time car in Nationwide. He needs to bring back Mark Martin.

You'd think the drivers would be more loyal and stick to their brand. I know I would. Money is good but wouldnt let it get in the way of what i love.

Roush and Martin are not on speaking terms. So, I don't think they will reunite.

Dave
That's a shame. Roush is probably ticked that Mark "unretired" and started driving Chevys, since Roush is an ex-Ford employee and "bleeds Ford blue". Side note: Since Mark has both Mark Martin Ford and Mark Martin Chevrolet dealerships, I wonder that since he'll be driving a Toyota if he'll open a Mark Martin Toyota dealership somewhere. Mark is still one of my favorite drivers, no matter what brand of car he drives.
