Thursday the wife and I take off for our 16th wedding anniversary. We are both veterans, we will celebrate Veterans Day. She will also "inspect my plumbing" :roflmao

If you can read and write, thank a teacher. If you are reading and writing ENGLISH, thank a veteran!
I'm retired Air Force.
The wife is an Air Force veteran.

I had the best job in the Air Force...professional fool! Actually, the job title was broadcast specialist when I was overseas (practically my whole career) and public affairs specialist stateside. I worked for AFN as a morning radio announcer and television news reporter in Germany and The Netherlands, and as a news writer for the base paper stateside, doing community relations like giving speeches to civic groups, etc. High profile stuff, got to meet many high movers and shakers, General Colin Powell, Alex Trebeck (Jeopardy host), Charlie Daniels, Bob Hope, Tony Curtis, and lots of entertainers from the USO tours. I'm retired now and enjoy my wife and kids with a stable home life, a boat, and menagerie of animals in the house.

Still, I sometimes miss putting on the blue suit and going to work...for about five minutes!
