Heck no! Not with that stereo system you have!!! :sweet

i honestly RARELY play it loud...if my truck is any
quieter than anyone elses (by comparison) its because
of the polly tubing in the doors and the close to 300lbs
of sound insulation material that the trucks been lined w/ !

The larger unsprung weight is what I did not like about any of the larger style wheels/tires. More unsprung weight means rougher ride and shorter life for things like shocks, ball-joints, and tie rod ends.

Yeah but by switching to 19.5's He can change out his steering knuckles. Change them out to the 550 calipers and 15 inch rotors. This is what i'm planning on doing to my front end and i will go with 20 inch rims. Takes care of all that unsprung weight that needs to be stopped.

Soooo, we seem to be unsettled in the decision.
Is going to 19.5 really going to be that much of a diff.?

Ive been told to expect about 100k out of them? seems worth it to me
I only get 20k out of mine.

granny.

good lord, as a reference, we get about 25-30k outta the sticky
tires on my wifes awd subaru...and that car gets driven HARD.

Here is what I found out in another forum. Nice FYI

"We bought a set of there alluminum 19.5 wheels for the bosses truck. We had them for around 3 months. One of the outters actually blew up on the street in front of my shop. He does not tow big loads and had never hit a curb or anything with them. We called them and tried to get them to warrenty them, They prett much told us to F*** off. We decided to get rid of the alluminum and get some of there steel 19.5's. We had them for around 6 months and the welds started leaking. Their welds SUCK! Again, they would do nothing about it. We orderd 2 more of their steel wheels and they ended up leaking aloso. It wasnt the tire, or the bead, but the welds that hold the inner and outter parts of the wheel together. We finally got smart and went with the Rickson wheel. They are built ALOT stronger and they will stand behind their product. It is your choice, But I would highly recomend using Rickson over American Force. Ricksons are made here in the states and American Force wheels are made over seas."
