I know there have been other and recent questions about the axcessive oil in the CAC and Boost Tubes. Is there a solution to this problem on the 6.0's or are we stuck with it? I am contemplating a new CAC and boost tubes as I am having trouble even keeping the oil contained. On long hard trips the oil weeps at the clamp locations and makes a mess in the engine compartment. I have replaced the tubes and clamps but nothing seems to work. I dont like the mod that vents to atmosphere - its not filtered and dirt could get into the engine. Has any one used the Racor set up? Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

It is up to you to figure out something that you think will work. No one has come up with a solution for the CAC Oil problem with the 6.0 engines.

I have seen on some other forums where the CCV has been rerouted and either sent out into the atmosphere or a collection container of some sort where it can be drained out.

I am contemplating doing the same on my 6.0 in the very near future.

Ok I found something that might work. I bought a moisture separator from Harbor Freight and took out the filter and the plan is to run a 1 inch tube form the crank case to the separator and back to the intake. There is no pressure restriction on the part and it unscrews to drain. I will take pictures when I install it.
