so I'm running 315/75s on 16" Welds mounted to an EX with a 4" lift. I need some fresh rubber and I'm thinking of dropping to a 305/70 and moving to an E-rated tire with friendlier Hwy tread pattern, thinking of the Nitto Dura Grappler. I use the Ex for work and she sees quite a few miles. I like the idea of a more quite tire, better MPGs and no more walls of water when I drive through a puddle.
I'm not so sure how it's going to look. The lifted Ex is pretty much in scale now, I'm affraid dropping 2" off the tire is going to make the truck look like it's riding around on the doughnuts the factory put on it originally.
