Tired of LOUD "engine" Noise!

if there is no alternative to the ulsd, pretty much everyone around here is selling it, what additives do yall recommend to use to lubricate the injectors?

I would hope it sounds like a T444E, as that is exactly what you have in your truck

The 99 T/C sounded like marbles rolling around as they get short on life. I'd bet steaks on the grill. 
Get a BTS & be permanently done with it.
Ford no longer offers the single disc T/C, it's now an upgraded 3 disc setup. It's probably the cheapest new replacement convertor available. That won't fix many of the build flaws in the 4R100, but it's a good band aid for keeping it going. When the T/C fails, it usually ruins the rest of the trans.

The early 99's were somewhat best known for the noisy TQ's. We were lucky enough to take delivery of one of the new 99.5's without the noisy TQ,otherwise the engine ran like a top.

IIRC they were ok when new, but developed the noise over time, does that sound right?

It didn't take long for the early 99 TQ's to start getting noisy as I was hearing them late 98 early 99.
