I've just put 315's (same diameter as a 35") on mine the other day, works great, except just a little rub on the springs on the front when at full turn. Just added a little metal(ie welded) to the turn stops on the knuckles and now i'm good to go.

On my 02 I ran 315x75's (35x12.5's) on the stock 7.5" wide chrome steelies with out any problems but I did have to play with the pressure a little bit to get them to wear perfect. Mine never did hit the leaf springs even at full lock but they were A/T's not M/T's.

Thanks Guys,

Do you think this can cause front end issues/wear? I must admit the 315's sound good.

no, Get the trans. shift points changed to match the tires. It will save you fuel and the lugging feeling you'll have with the larger tires.

dont mean to take over the thread, but i would like to put 315/75s on soon as well and had a question about changing the tranny shift points. whats the best place to have something like that done? is it expensive? is it really necessary?

I had just over 200K miles on my 02, I only ever had to do the ball joints once and also had to replace one wheel bearing. I lifted it when it had 100K miles, ran 315's in the winter and 38's for the rest of the year. Some people might say different but I never had any serious problems wearing out front end parts.

Cheers, Patrick
