just wanted some feedback....looking to replace my tires soon. thinking about going with bridgestone duellers revo(i can get them at cost). have read they are a good all round tire for diiff. weather conditions. i have always liked bfgoodrich all terains for winter but don`t wear well in the summer months. looking for a tire that wears well and perform well all year around....-popcorn

Bridgestone Revo's are a long time favorite of the Excursion crowd and probably one of the top 3 performers. If you're getting them at cost I'm sure you'll be very pleased with em'

We went from BFG TKO's last July to Michelin LTX M/S and they have performed outstanding on wet, snow and ice covered roads compared to the BFG's. We currently have almost 10k miles on the LTX tires and can't see a prob attaining 40-60k miles with proper balance/rotation.

Nuther thing is the LTX's are sooooo much quieter than the BFG's:thumbs

If I could get them at cost, I'd have Dueler A/T Revo's on my truck now. I used to have some, but couldn't afford the extra $$$ next time around. I got some American Car Care house brand tires made by Michelin next time around.

Also, I went from 265/75's to 285/75's. The factory 265's looked sorta small in the wheel wells. The 285's filled the wheel wells much better and made up for a 2 mph error in the speedometer. Now the speedo is dead on, albeit the odometer now reads about 2-3% on the low side.

I run Pro-Comp all terrains (315/75's) in the winter overall they are a good tire and seem to last a long time. I agree BFG's don't seem to like the summer.

ive got some mickey thompson baja claws on mine, and for mud tires their suprizingly quiet and with 25,000 miles on em they still have a good 40-50,000 on em. very shocking for a mud tire...so yeh but the bridgestones are good too.

I just put on a set of Contintenal Contitrac TR's 275/75/18 from Discount tire in the USA Detroit under $600.00 total These tires are awesome the almost 20,000kms on no signs of wear at all. Don't run the Pressure they tell you unless your working the truck everyday 55-60 PSI takes out all the roll and works great. I'm sure these are different tires than what comes on F-250's. Go for them. I had BF goodrich all terrain worthless and didn't last long way to much money. Just my 2 cents worth...

I second the Michelin's! That's what I have on my F-250.:thumbs

Actually compared the BFG A/T KOs and the Michelins today on snow packed and icy roads. Dad's '03 CTD has BFGs and I've been driving it the last 2 days since we got 9" of snow over the weekend and it's 4wd. Drove it today in 2wd and in the residentials that are still snow packed and icy had some issues with the rear end wanting to come around. Returned the dawdge to dad tonight and drove my 2wd real truck:D back to my house on the same residentials. The Michelin's tracked ALOT better than the BFGs.:sweet
