DAWN IS A BEAUTIFUL THING...................

Hi Guys,

I simply use some Dawn (dish detergent) in a bucket of water...............I Do Not Use This on the Truck, as you all know it will strip wax off. :( The dawn is a cheap fix to removing all the Tire shine and the dust & contaminants that it attracts. As a nice little bonus, the dawn also keeps that "black gunk" down to a minimum on your tire brushes! :D No problem with the Dawn on the surfaces of your custom wheels either. :) Just my two cents!

Simple Green is a buffered butyl base, not D-Limonene. Regardless, you should always rinse well when using any chemical like this. It will eat your aluminum wheels, it hust wont be hydrogen embrittlement, because that requires an acid. Just as verification, here is a list of all the simple green MSDS's Material Safety Data Sheets Happy reading.
