Time for the 30K service

I stopped by the dealership for an extimate of the 30K service. OVER $675!
Ouch! I know I can get the filters and the engine oil, but is there a source besides the dealer for the MERCON SE transmission fluid required by the TorqShift automatic?

With high diesel prices, it has put a crimp in my budget. My new garage is finished so I can do the work at home. Ideas?

yep mercon sp (slick, peanuts)
mine goes in next week for the 30k tranny fluid and filter . 185 bucks
rich as for teh rest of it oil and filters do it at home.
i just have a lift or place to dump teh tranny fluid

any ideas on 6spd oil, im sure its not just gear oil , ill have to look into this

The 6 speed manual transmission uses AFT and not gear oil. Look in your book.
