When I had my 96, I put Edelbrooks IAS shocks on and it was the best improvement for ride quality of anything else I tried. The 96 was a crew cab SB and would hobby horse badly on certian sections of freeway to the point of discomfort against the seat belts. The Edelbrook shocks reduced that problem greatly. They are more expensive than others but well worth it for the results.

What ever you do DO NOT put on Doetsch Tech Shocks! I've blown through two sets in two years and thats with 3 shocks per side up front!
