Had a few questions before I did this myself. Ive worked on all my other cars myself but my dads 2003 f250 superduty needs the left side tie rod ends replaced. The cheapest place i got quoted was $382 parts and labor for just the 2 on the left side.

Now I checked around and it looks like I can get both the inner and outer on both sides for about 160 bucks. So i can change them all 4 out for 160 bucks. So i decided to do it myself.

I assume its going to be pretty similar to the cars I've owned, but never worked on a big truck.

So is there anything special I need to know?

Or is it basically, mark where they are now, remove the old ones screw on new ones and get a alignment?

Also can someone tell me the torque specs for the lug-nuts and for the tie rods? thanks

If anything i said was wrong please feel free to correct me. thanks guys

The tie rods get torqued down to 67 ft lbs, and go to the next hole for the cotter key, and the lug nuts get torqued to 165 ft lbs.
