Diesels do not have throttle bodies. Tornados etc. are snake oil ion diesels. On a carburated gas engine they may help to atomize the fuel but other than that I don't think they do anything.

I know this probably doesn't help, but I had one on my 01 Ranger and all it did was make a lot of noise and suck a lot more gas. Never again.

What it all boils down to is this...

Show me the throttle body on a 7.3 that this thing is supposed to "space".

Until then, it is difficult to discuss the benefits of spacing the throttle body, since I'm pretty sure that the 7.3 does not have one... :roflmao

Sssssssnake oil....

I know a guy who bought two throttle body type air straighteners and swore by them at first. Later he changed his mind and removed them. Sometimes things have a placebo effect.
I don't want to mention him by name but his first initial is KRMNAL1

Is this the infamous TAG system you speak of?

Yes, that would be them. Now I can't say for a fact they don't do as advertised, I'm just a non-believer. Besides, I got better things to spend my money on like them fender mounted deer whistlers and chrome girls on the mud flaps for example.
