My first thought at seeing those pictures: "yukondiesel cut down a few perfectly good trees so he would have something to haul in his PSD!" :innocent

An after-thought: That was also a great excuse to use your chainsaw! We are, after-all, guys, right? :sly

My wife would see right through me, standing with her hands on her hips! :nono:

I thought about that. It would have kinda killed any financial benefit from the home fuel savings, but the weight of those logs along with the roughness of the bark...That stuff wasn't going ANYWHERE...regards and thanks for the comment on the truck. They are kinda purrtty (thanks to bamasixgun for that!)...joe

Somebody felled those trees for me (well not exactly FOR me). They were clearing some lots. I ain't REALLY crazy about felling..too many bad things can happen, but I do do it. As for my wife...She almost insists on wood heat as a supplement for us in the winter. The rather large wood stove makes it so much more comfortable than the central heat

Beautiful truck!!!

Thanks! I was one phone call away from buying a 2008 DMAX myself, but the Ford just struck me right. I've been a GM guy all my life an never REALLY unhappy, but the new GMC's didn't strike me as being as capable as the new Ford. Only time will tell. Are you getting a new one (based on your signature)? Regards...joe

This load is Red Oak; White Oak; and a little Hickory mixed in. All green/fresh cut. My wild guess is this is somewhere over a real ton of weight. The truck never seemed to know the load was there! Its great! I Love this truck!

hey... I need an 80" piece I can plank out and make dimensional lumber from..
