Just added another little gadget mod today.

This one is functional (and its not chrome bush, imagine that)

Sorry the video was taken at night, it was the first chance I had to make it.

nah...imo that thing is TOO obvious <not hidden> and
good LORD its slow

The 2008 tailgates have the "easylift" action. there is a torsion rod that runs along the bottom of the tail gate.

was that MORE parts to buy ?

and btw i do like that easy down...its nice...blends in well <gotta
know what to look for if you wanna find it> and it looks "factory".

how hard was it to install ?
it was very easy, took about 15 minutes. if i think about it, i will scan in the instructions tomorrow so you can see what is involved..

I like the way it hides itself. its very unsuspecting. if you didnt know it was there, you would just open it up like normal, expecting to have to hold it all the way down.
