I currently have a 38 gal fuel tank and i found this (second one down): http://www.aerotanks.com/ford.html

If i got a 55 gal tank would it mess up my overhead console that calculates fuel milage? is there anyway to go into the computer to 'tell' it i now have a 55 gal tank instead of a 38 gal tank?

Has anybody else upgraded thier fuel tanks with either replacement units or aux tanks? Any problems or comments you would like to share?

you can have any dealer reprogram your overhead to adjust for a bigger tank, some thugh have been unwilligly or not knowledgabel, but there is a procedure, either way they will charge you a few dollars.:D
i was looking at the replacemnt tank, not bad to replace the 50 plus galons would be nice.

one thing to keep in consideration - if you plan on ever using bio you need to make sure the material is compatible. Rooster Diesel has had a lot of trouble from his bed tank that turned out not compatible and is now buying yet another one.

I wonder why it will not work on diesel trucks?

This was just what I've been looking for till I read "Not for diesel":(

I'll bookmark the site and check back every so often. Hopefully a diesel version will come out.
