I completely understand. We'll see what the dealer ends up coming up with for the final dollars and then I'll weigh the options. I cleaned mine up last night just so I can set the two side by side and make the conscious decision.

Thanks fellas.

My biggest issue is the fact that I can literally trade for the exact same truck just a new body style and it has a moonroof for less than 10k difference....45000 miles on mine, so I don't know.

would you pay 10 grand to drive a truck 45k miles ?
is a moonroof worth 10k ?

you could EASILY install a moon roof (real, INBUILT slider)
for LESS than 1500.

what about the mod's that youll loose $ on ?

Thanks for the info Bush. I'm really not trading for the moonroof. What I would be trading for is a new platform to build. I have an automotive accessories distributorship and so accessorizing is kind of what we do. As for loss on current mods, the dollars are very minimal.

I also like the thought of the sequential turbos. Pulling my GN loaded, it's nervewracking trying to start on an uphill with all the lag. The TC is taking some serious heat trying to take off. I would think the almost immediate power from the 6.4 would solve that issue.

After a ton of thought, it looks like I'm going to keep my truck. I'm going to put some new Bilstein Shocks on it, probably swap out wheels/tires, and get the SCT from Elite. That should about do it. Not only was the new truck going to cost me to trade, but the cost of the other toys that would have to put on to make it my own would have been slightly rediculous. So, I recant my statements regarding those mods.

Thanks guys.

I know they are wanting to sale the 08's for sure. I had a recall did on my 06 about two weeks ago and drove an 08 while I was there. I told him the color of the new truck that I wanted and that's all. They went to OK that night and picked the truck up and brought it to my house the next day all cleaned up and ready to go. I all most did it but the truck only got 9.9 MPG, on the 350 trip from OK to here. I drove it about 40 miles and it was nice but I like my 06 a lot better and it only has 29050 miles on it.
It would of cost me over a $1000.00 for a new sprayed in bed liner plus all of the other little goodies I have added to my truck to make it my truck. You did good by keeping your truck.:thumbs :thumbs :thumbs

Yeah, I really like my truck. And, the aftermarket options for mine are becoming much more friendly. The '08s technically can't even be chipped. Plus, my cousin traded his '07 F-350 CCSB 4x4 PSD in on a new one and he wishes he'd never traded. :cowboy:

Thanks!
