I got 2 now and am ready to get more. I'm gonna "sleeve" my left arm...BUT this aint for everybody...I'm doin' it for ME! You don't need to get one to "fit" in or pick up some girl. If you get one, get it for you, not someone else...

if you feel like you gotta do something to express your individuality, consider getting a nipple pierced instead. at least that is 'reversible'.

tried that.it hurt like hell.they lasted a whole 6 hours


but anyways.im doing it for me,not to fit in or anything.i have a big fear/worry about them that will keep me from meeting girls.i think the only way i will get over it is to get one myself to prove to me that there is nothing wrong with them.

ive been thinking about it for the last 3 months.i want to do it.just not sure on what to get.i love my fords wich is why im thinkin about the blue oval.not to advertise for anything,just cuz i love my fords.i know its for life.any truck im gonna own will most likely be a ford.i dont want something that i pick from a book that a ton of people have.i want something different and i havent seen anybody with a ford tattoo.im also thinkin about putting my kid and nephews names around it.but definately doing it for me and me only.not to impress girls or fit in.i need to get over the fear of them or its gonna keep me from meeting some nice girls.i may miss the perfect girl cuz i cant deal with a tattoo and most girls around here have them.

I got one in 1962, in Hawaii (Sailor Jim,s, Fer you Old Salts). It's (was) a Knife with a ribbon thing around it on my right for-arm. It was what I could afford. I got it only because: All sailors had Tats, I was a Sailor so I got a Tat.

It's now this Greenish, Blackish, Blueish thing that looks kinda like a Knife (maybe, if you look at it long enough) with some Redishness to it, where the Ribbon is (was).

It's There. I've never payed much attention to it. It was Cool when I got it cuz, >AT THE TIME< it made me "Fit In". At Least thats what I thought.

Would I do it again ? I don't know. It's just THERE. My Elders, at the time, kept tell'n me things that said: I was'nt guna make it this far... If I'd known I was guna make it this far.... Maybe I would'nt have got it.

Hind sight is allwayz 20/20.

its something that falls in with the things about me and my life that im trying to change.im doing pretty good with it as well.got a few issues fixed already.got a few more to do and this is one of them

each tatoo I have I had drawn and pined up at work for months while I saved up for them. I definitely new that was what I wanted by the time I got the cash. If what too see for your self if something was what it is, your supposed to try it.

You cant try tatoos.

lower left of your back is for women.

dont have some flame thing put on you. Have exactly what you want put exactly were you want. you can pay money to have something made and then have them stain it on you so you can walk around for a few days to make sure its the right spot.

three months is nothing compared to a lifetime.

Where is it your at that the only girls you meet are going to expect you to have tattoos? I have my share that I got in my ...ahem...younger days and I don't regret them. But thats just me. Getting inked to "fit in" totally flies in the face of why most folks get them. My only advice would be keep it above the wrist and below the neck. Good luck.

Sorry Rich, but I gotta ask, Did you eat a lot of paint chips as a kid? This has got to be the most ass-backwards logic I've ever heard!
