thermostat?

has anybody changed there own stat? any special procedures? any info would be great....

No experience, but please elaborate?? Your 04 needs a thermostat?

The only thing to watch out for is getting the proper stat. You can not find them at most auto parts stores. They are a special stat for this engine. Try International or Ford.

thanx...going to get one Ford anyway. certain parts i find are best to use OEM....thermostats do fail, mine seems to be stuck open....
